• Securing your date
A £45 non-refundable booking fee (£50 if your wedding is planned for 2022 or later) is required to hold and secure the date of your wedding. Final balance must be paid at least 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash which can be paid on the trial date.
• Cancellation policy
If in the unlikely event, you need to cancel your bridal hair, you will need to provide written notice via email at least 16 weeks prior to the wedding date. Cancellation less than 16 weeks will incur 50% of the total balance to be paid. In all cases of cancellations the booking fee remains non-refundable. If you require to re-arrange your wedding date I will accommodate this wherever possible. If extremely unforeseen circumstances arise that I am unable to attend your booking due to illness, injury, personal emergency or any circumstance beyond my control, I will contact you at the earliest opportunity and arrange a replacement hairstylist with a similar style who will look after your wedding day hairstyling. This cannot, however, be guaranteed and if I am unable to find a replacement stylist you will receive a full refund, less any trial costs.
• Cancellations due to circumstances out of your control
If you need to cancel your booking due to a circumstance outside of your control (for example a local lockdown). In this instance, your booking fee can be transferred to a new date without charge, although additional costs may apply (inflation/different year) and providing I am available on the new date. If I am unavailable on the new date, a full refund will be given and I will recommend another stylist with a similar style.
• Hair requirements
Please note, hair must be washed and blowdried the day before the wedding and the trial. Hair is only to be washed the morning of the wedding if having a blow-dry service only. If a second hair trial is requested the same fee applies as for the first trial. For bookings of 5 or more there may be another stylist at hand for assistance.
• Health and safety
Under any circumstances, I am not responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. It is up to the client to give myself advance notification if you or any of your group/wedding party have particular hypersensitivity that you are aware of. It’s your responsibility to provide an adequate working area with access to a suitable amount of plug sockets to support completion in the acceptable amount of time.
• Photography and privacy
You agree that I can photograph whoever is having their hair styled within your bridal party. These photos can be used for my website and social media purely for business purposes.
• Travel Expenses
The client will cover any necessary travel expenses for services which is quoted within the time of booking. For bookings over 3 hours journey from my home, a hotel will be required at the expense of the client. Any parking charges will need to be notified to myself before arrival and paid by yourself. For destination weddings airport transfers both in the UK and abroad, flights and accommodation should all be provided.
• Data protection
By law it is required to keep records of your services, and this includes personal data. Your personal data is stored securely and is not visible to anyone other than the stylist at any time. These records are kept for six years, after which time, if you are no longer a client, your personal data will be destroyed. Records will be automatically deleted at the six year point after your last appointment following the data protection law.
